Job Description:

Qualifications:
Assists patients and their families, physicians, and others in person and by telephone.
Verifies orders are received before scheduled patients are arrived to the modality.
Checks in registered patients for imaging exams.
Calls providers for needed orders.
Maintains waiting room appearance.
Monitors patient flow to ensure timeliness of scheduled imaging exams and departure to the correct departments.
Maintains the integrity of imaging department films and reports.
Imports outside films and imaging reports as needed for comparison.
Assists physicians with access of radiographic files and reports by means of Powershare and/or cd export.
Requirements:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) required, or higher.
Preferred
Qualifications:
General typing skills preferred.
Working knowledge of computers and data entry preferred.
Prior health care experience preferred.
Excellent organizational and oral communication skills preferred.
Medical terminology preferred.
