comRole DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Process Control Engineer/Programmer.
The candidate will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to design, troubleshooting, and maintenance of process control systems for the various areas of operation throughout the campus.
The candidate will work closely with operations, quality, safety, and other relevant departments to ensure stakeholders have the tools they need to solve their own problems and maintain tight control of their processes.
QualificationsProcess Control and Troubleshooting skills Understanding of valves and instrumentation.
Process Control and Process Engineering skills.
Bachelor's or higher in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or another relevant field, or experience in lieu of education.
Experience with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and MES systems.
Understanding of Network topologies and standards.
Demonstrated experience with Ignition.
Experience with the 5 IEC 6113-3 languages.
Python / JavaScript programming.
Ability to work in a team environment with cross-functional groups.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Original thinker and highly inquisitive nature.
Experience with software development tools and environments.
Understanding of cloud platforms desired.
