Registered Nuse (RN) - Long-Term Care
Job Description:
As a Registered Nurse in our long-term care facility, you will have the opportunity to work closely with elderly residents, providing comprehensive nursing care, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the well-being of our residents.
You will play a crucial role in promoting a comfortable and supportive environment for our elderly residents, fostering their independence, and enhancing their quality of life.
Key
Responsibilities:
Conducting assessments and developing individualized care plans for residents Administering medications and treatments as prescribed Monitoring residents' health status and providing necessary interventions.
Collaborating with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals Providing emotional support and companionship to residents Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in long-term care
Qualifications:
Valid RN license in the state of Kentucky Compassion for the elderly and a strong desire to make a positive impact.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Prior experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing is preferred but not required
